The company will give you a welcoming with a taste of “pastissets” (sweet pie cake with candied pumpkin) and a typical wine made with honey. Afterwards there will be an explanation with the audio-visual about the process of making honey, the obsevation of a natural hive 60cm high and with more than 30.000 bees, the magnific and only honey fountain in this country, the bee-keepers museum with old tools and documents, some over 150 years old, a demostration of how to use the honey spoon, and to finish the visit of the installations everyone to savour diferent types of honey produced the craftmanship way by our bee-keepers.
visit us · guided visits for adults · visit beehives in the country Visit a beehive in the middle of the country, previouslly prepared, with proper bee-keepers suit, we will go to the Burgà, with a professional bee-keeper. We will be able to see in direct how a bee-keeper works ( how he throws smoke at the bees, and how to take the frames out of the hive) we will observe the mobile frames with honey pollen and bees eggs, also we will be able to see the diferent types of bees, the tools that the bee-kepper uses, diferent types of hives and the characteristics of a city (place with lots of beehives).

With our workshops we have done it, we can make a honey cake typical of Perrelló or, even make candles with bees wax.
